Filling the Gap, It’s in Our DNA
_______________________
The Jeffery Alan Mitchell Medical Foundation (JAMMF) was founded to honor the life and legacy of Jeffery Mitchell, whose struggles and story continue to inspire a vision for change. JAMMF is committed to bridging harm reduction and clinical care through compassionate outreach, education, and community-based medical support.
Our Story

Jeffery’s journey highlighted the gaps that exist between prevention, harm reduction, and medical treatment. His life reminded us that access to care should never depend on privilege or circumstance.
In his memory, JAMMF was created to ensure that others have access to the tools, resources, and compassion that can make the difference between life and loss. Every kit we build, every outreach visit we make, and every life touched is a reflection of Jeffery’s legacy.
The Founder

JAMMF was founded by Brittany Mitchell, a healthcare worker and harm reduction advocate with over six years of direct patient care experience in emergency medicine, rehabilitation, and community outreach.
Nicole has worked across ICUs, ERs, and long-term care settings, while also leading harm reduction initiatives such as naloxone distribution and mobile outreach. Her dual perspective, as both a clinician and a community advocate, has shaped the vision of JAMMF: to integrate the compassion of harm reduction with the precision of medical care.
Our Vision

Through partnerships, volunteers, and community leadership, JAMMF seeks to create a future where wellness is truly without barriers.
