Provided Medical Supplies to 38 People at Old Savannah City Mission

Our Mission:

The Wellness Without Barriers Program is dedicated to breaking down the obstacles that prevent people from accessing healthcare. We believe that wellness should never depend on housing status, income, or circumstance. By bringing harm reduction and medical resources directly into shelters and underserved communities, we create safer, healthier spaces where dignity is restored and lives are protected.

What We Do:

Every week, our team visits shelters across Savannah to meet people where they are. During each visit, we: Distribute harm reduction tools, including naloxone, test strips, and wound care kits. Provide over-the-counter medications and hygiene essentials. Offer basic medical supplies and health education. Connect individuals with ongoing care and community resources. This outreach ensures that the most vulnerable members of our community have immediate access to what they need to stay safe and healthy.

Our Impact:

Each shelter visit reaches dozens of individuals who might otherwise go without care. By placing life-saving naloxone, first-aid tools, and preventive supplies directly in the hands of those who need them most, we reduce risks, prevent crises, and give people a stronger chance at recovery and stability. Our program is a lifeline—one that saves lives and fosters trust every week.

Looking Ahead:

The Wellness Without Barriers Program is the first of its kind in Savannah. Our vision is to grow this work into a consistent, city-wide resource that bridges emergency care, harm reduction, and preventive health. By building partnerships with shelters, healthcare providers, and community organizations, we aim to expand our reach, strengthen our impact, and ensure that no one is left behind.
